Stagnation weeps history
Thankful for dawn beyond darkness
Find your tear in the ocean
Whims challenge destiny
Thankful to you
My tear rescued in your hand

[...] Thank you, Slowmoto.me for nominating GrowthLines for the Kreativ Blogger Award. It is an honor to have been nominated. It has been fun and inspirational to make connections with fellow bloggers and readers. I am amazed, and reassured, that there are so many good thinkers and writers posting their ideas, observations, and photos. It is like sitting down to a feast each time I come to the “blogging table”. A part of the feast recently was Slowmoto.me’s posts Harvesting Tinsel and Walking Past. [...]

Your photograph is a rich story, and your poem has such breadth in brevity. Thank you for prompting thought!

Hi, again–I imagine you’ll be pleased that I finally spelled your name correctly, to include you in my blogroll–I’m such a dweeb sometimes!

This is excellent–I was going to choose just a couple lines, phrases to remark on–but I like every line and word!

Yes, the last line wrote itself. Thank you Claudia for your comments and encouragement to continue writing. You are a wonderful talent. I enjoyed one of your latest entries immensely: “Starving the Pain.” This poem is powered in realism and left me wanting to embrace her courage and overcome the pain. In fact, let me comment on your blog. Thanks again!

Nice how you build the totality of the poem by series of discreet concepts. The 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th lines are wonderful on their own and work without distracting to create a message. Very nicely done!

Thank you. Yes, your perspective is a very good interpretation of
“Walking Past” as it meshes concrete thought, creative emotion, and visual art to draw the reader into the experience.
You are a respected poet with masterful work. Thank you for taking the time to comment on my poems.

Moss over boots: Our tears, falling from eyes that are proverbially the window to our souls, captured by a hand, preserving our individuality when whims challenge destiny. Great photo, interesting words.

Thank you for pulling out the essence of this poem. I want to pull the reader into the experience gently yet leave the taste of the moment. Thank you for reading and commenting. Your words help shape my future works. Congratulations on your second Liebster Award, very well deserved by you and your wife. Thanks again, Sherry
