Love this haiku in its entirety! Very evocative photo and the words just added another dimension… wow. Nice work.
PS Thank you again for the lovely award nomination, I really will pass on the love asap.

Beautiful, my dear, and thank you. I love the “patchwork” aspect of the carol.

This is powerfully beautiful–I don’t know what to like best, but I think I was particularly grabbed by “laughter foams from frosted glass”, because laughter–when it’s real & full–does seem to bubble into foam! And the picture is really something else–great work!

Thanks Caddo, I enjoyed carving that line from a long ramble I had written in the corner of a crossword book. You inspire me with your posts and the comments you leave on mine. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Thank you so very much–it’s wonderfully invigorating (& fun) when writers can benefit each other! I’m not sure what I expected when I began my blog–but I’ve received much more, that’s for sure!

The photo of embers in the fire is unbelievable, and the haiku, as usual, is perfect by itself and enhanced by the photo.
